About
Pier is a Windows service that shows Nextcloud/WebDAV, SFTP and NFS storage as a local drive letter. A disk block cache, resumable transfers, offline mode and automatic reconnects keep large files usable on slow links.
- Real drive letterUses the Dokany driver so Explorer, Office and scripts treat the remote folder as a local disk.
- Block cacheFiles are fetched in blocks and cached on a disk cache you size yourself, so repeat reads don't download again.
- Resumable transfersInterrupted uploads and downloads continue from the last block once the connection returns.
- Offline modeKeep working from the cache; changes are journaled and pushed when you go back online.
